The EasyStand Evolv Glider provides the user with state-of-the-art Active Standing technology that can be found in no other standing frame. The EasyStand Evolv Glider is available in both Youth and Adult sizes (sorry, the Glider is not available with the Evolv XT model).

A Glider Designed for: Active Standing
Exclusive to Altimate Medical, active standing provides lower body range of motion and upper body strengthening. Unlike passive standers, the active standing Glider allows users to move the glide handles with their arms (or a caregiver can assist) which creates a reciprocal movement in the legs. The full range seat on the Glider has hinged break-away sections for each leg that allow full leg extension while standing. This advanced active stander enhances the medical benefits of standing and keeps the body in shape for medical breakthroughs. Numerous research studies suggest that use of an active standing frame can positively affect an individual’s health.

A Glider Designed for: Easier Transfers
The Evolv Glider features a wide concave seat and flip-up kneepads that make transfers easier. A positioning bar provides a sturdy grip during the transfer. If needed, a patient lift can also be used to transfer a person into the Glider.

A Glider Designed for: Adjustability
It’s easy to customize the Evolv Glider for individuals of various heights and abilities for use in a rehab setting. The adjustable resistance cylinders are accessible to the user while they are in the standing position, so they can easily adjust the resistance in twelve different settings.  The seat depth, back angle, footplate height, kneepad height, and glide handle height are also easily adjustable.
